• ‘WORKING ART’ IS HAVING AN ART AUCTION NEAR STAPLETON NOW!

  A friend told me I had to go check out ‘Working Art’, a local art business located in the old firehouse #26 at the intersection of Pontiac St and 38th Ave just West of Stapleton.  The business is owned by Khabir and Ceri Salahadyn, who have dubbed the firehouse “The Collaboratory”.  When I stopped by they were very welcoming and were more than happy to shoot a video with me about their business.  In the video below you’ll learn a little about how they collaborate with people to create working art, the types of indoor and outdoor art they create, the background behind the yellow dome they created for the Swiggert Mcauliffe school’s playground (it’s much more than just a dome I learned!), and you’ll get a chance to hear about their current auction on all of their art!  If you want to create something truly unique for your home or as a gift this is somewhere local you can get it done.  (I plan to make some real estate signs with them soon)  Khabir and Ceri are some of the nicest, most interesting people you could hope to meet and I hope you’ll find time to stop by and see them.  There is no way to explain all the current collection that is up for auction so to see all it all click here.  If you just want to check out their main website please click here.  And if you don’t find exactly what you want they’d love to work with you to create a one of kind piece just for you.
